Story of How I get Amazon gift card from CourseHero

I received a weird E-mail recently, it seems to be a fraud email but also the design was convincible to me. At that time, I was wondered how should I deal with this E-mail without making any wrong decision.

This E-mail was quite troublesome for me because it was sent from Course Hero, a website for users to find academic answers for their questions by searching them online. Users can obtain free unlock points by uploading academic documents there. 


Frankly, I wasn't expected to receive a Thank You letter from them, with a Amazon Gift Card attached in that E-mail. 

Course Hero thanked me for uploading useful documents that helped around 1000 peoples and therefore they gave me Amazon Gift Card as token of appreciation.

This E-mail wasn't realistic to me. So I just asked the customer service on Course Hero website in order to avoid from being tricked by scammer.

Reply from Course Hero's customer service staff

A staff from customer service replied in following:

Hello,

Thank you for contacting Course Hero about the Gift card you received.

I apologize for the confusion. I'd be happy to assist you.
Course Hero is giving away Gift cards to members that have uploaded a quality document, like you!
To redeem the gift, you must click the link to log in to your Course Hero account within 4 days from the time you received the email, then you will be routed to the upload page. 

Once done logging in, you just have to wait and Amazon will send the gift card via email within 7 days.

I'm not sure how I get my uploaded documents helpful, the only thing I know is that I always split my notes to 2-3 pages per doc and upload them one by one to increase the number of upload documents.

Since I didn't have any Amazon account and it was not suitable to use it here in my country, so I just sold it on Shopee with a offer price.
