Coraza Integrated Technology Berhad IPO (MYX:0240) & IPO Update 2022

Most of us who applied for the recent IPOs in January must be focusing on the balloting results of Coraza Integrated Technology Berhad IPO & SenHeng New Retail Berhad IPO. However, there was a news related to the change of Malaysia IPO Framework since the start of 2022. 


According to TheStar, The Securities Commission ("SC") and Bursa Malaysia Securities ("Bursa") have announced that the exchange will be the sole approving authority for ACE Market initial public offerings (IPO), effective Jan 1, 2022.

What type of company is Bursa Malaysia?


Previously, SC handling all Ace Market & Main Market IPO Approvals with the registeration of prospectus draft. But now Bursa is becoming a one-stop centre for all ACE Market IPO approvals.  

To put it simply, you wouldn't see any new prospectus draft of ACE Market IPOs on SC website since then. 


And the place for you to find the prospectus draft of Malaysia ACE Market IPO changed from SC to Bursa Malaysia - Prospectus Exposure.

As at 17th January 2022, there is a sole prospectus draft of an Ace Market IPO named Infoline Tec Group Berhad (“Infoline Tec”). It states that this draft was publihsed on few days ago.

This page is quite similar to SC's prospectus exposure, so there should be no impact to those who want to view the prospectus expousre of any IPO, just that now SC will be respobsible to Main Market IPO only. 


That's the small update I want to share about Malaysia IPO Framework regulatory that has been changed since the start of year 2022.


And also, congrats to those who are very lucky to get Coraza Integrated Technology Berhad's shares through IPO Balloting in last week. 

Since the IPO price of Coraza Integrated Technology Berhad is merely RM0.28, I think that Coraza will be another well perform IPO in Malaysian shares market & high potential to open real high.
